Comparing segments and time periods
In the reports, you can compare data by selected segments or time periods.
Time period comparison
To compare the selected period with the previous period of the same length, click Comparison → With previous period. Charts for the first time period are displayed with solid lines, and for the second — with dashed lines.
To exit the comparison mode, click Cancel comparison.
Segment comparison

Set the first segment: click Segment not selected and select one of the existing segments or create a new one.
How to create a segment
- Click Segment not selected → Any segment.
- Add conditions. Conditions can be enabled and disabled.
- Click Apply.
- If you want to save a segment to reuse it, click Save as... and enter the segment's name.
- Set the second segment: click Comparison → With existing or new segment and select one of the existing segments or create a new one.
The report will display a comparison of the data for the two segments. Charts for the first segment are displayed with solid lines, while the second segment uses dashed lines.
If you decide to select another segment to compare with, click and select the segment.
To modify the segments, click . Edit the conditions and click Apply.
When comparing segments, you can use different time periods.
To exit the comparison mode, click Cancel comparison.
